Good morning. I just wanted to send you guys a message because I’m a New Yorker (close to The Bronx) and have a daughter who has been down in North Carolina for several years. Her one complaint is never being able to find a good bagel in NC. The couple of times she’s been able to make it back up to NY since moving down south she has stopped immediately to buy herself good NY bagels. Long story short, a couple of months ago we were all devastated to learn she has an aggressive form of breast cancer and is an unusual case due to her age (27 yrs old) and the type that it is. She has gone from a vibrant carefree young woman to someone fighting for her life. She is currently undergoing chemo treatments and develops sores in her mouth and texture issues while eating due to the chemo and it’s upsetting to her. I have seen Just Bagels on QVC so many times (as I use QVC as background noise often) and took a chance last week and ordered her 2 bags of bagels. She received them 2 days ago and immediately toasted one of each variety and I’ve never seen her happier especially during her cancer battle. She was so happy she even made herself a cup of coffee to go with them. She had 2 more for her dinner that night and yesterday she had 2 for breakfast. This is the best she’s eaten during chemo since this battle began. Yesterday she was looking at the varieties of bagels you provide and made mention of some others she would like to try someday and being how good she has been eating the first two bags I placed a 2nd order for two more bags of different varieties from what I ordered her last week. So I wanted to thank you. Its not easy seeing someone you love, especially your child, battle cancer. Your bagels have been such a bright spot we truly appreciate you and hope to be able to get her some more in the future.

These are by far the best tasting bagels I ever had. A friend told me about them, I always complained about not being able to find a good bagel for many years now. He ordered some for me as a gift, and what a great gift it was.

I am on my third order on QVC. I was born and raised in NY. Moved to FL in 85. Now live in Waynesville, NC for the past 4 years. I haven’t had a good bagel since I left NYC. Until now. I just have one suggestion. I order the 4 oz. bagels 36 at a time. Plain, Sesame and Everything. I would love to be able to order pumpernickel. I have ordered them in the larger bagel. Our cafe in Frostburg, MD, has been serving exclusively Just Bagels since we opened in 2017 and we couldn’t be happier. The few times we’ve had a problem, someone got in touch with us right away and helped us figure out how to get back to the amazing taste and texture we’re used to.

Subject: Tasty, Not matter what!

I had to ask your forgiveness for something. I burned the bottom of the sesame bagel. I did eat it, but I feel bad having messed up a great Just Bagel bagel. Here’s what happened. My wife, Linda, “made me” watch a food network special on Katz’s Deli on the Lower East Side. It was her fault. I now know how Adam felt when Eve “made him” eat the apple. Well, God didn’t buy the excuse and blamed Adam, and I guess you’re not going to by my excuse, either. I must ‘fess up and own my irresponsibility.

I received my bagel order from QVC last week. I ordered the sweet bagels. These really are the best bagels I have ever tasted. I never would have thought that I could take them out of freezer, microwave for 25 seconds and put in the toaster. So far my favorites are the blueberry and cinnamon raisin. We live in suburban Birmingham and our bagels from QVC just arrived this evening. The UPS driver comes by very late in the day since we’re at the end of the driver’s route.
My wife always checks the porch before she turns off the light… The aroma coming from the box was strong and pleasant. Your bagels are uniquely great in flavor and texture. Our third order from you. All sliced and in the freezer except for a couple left for the refrigerator for the next several days.
Nothing matches their flavor and texture. I’m sure these will be great like the earlier orders were.

Hi Andy;

I just had to tell you….

how much fun you make the job. You are there at every food show, busting your butt with a smile upon your face and jokes ripping out of your mouth!! All kidding aside, no other manufacturer works as hard as you do. As your broker rep, we are responsible for setting up and breaking down, ordering the samples, hauling the oven and getting the accoutrements (cream cheese). But you Andy, you set up with your burlap table cloth, dropping your seeds all over. You heave that oven onto the table and even bring your own oven mitts, your own latex gloves!! You bake and give samples…it’s your booth, your show, you know the customers…you are out there selling, bringing them in and showing them, what a true New York bagel is.

There isn’t a manufacturer that I would rather work with and look forward to working with, not because you do it, but because you have so much passion for it. Every time, you teach me something new; and that passion rubs off onto me!!

Thanks Andy for always being you and making the dreaded food show so much more fun!
